BOOK NOWCapture Unforgettable Views of Toronto — A Scenic Cruise Offering Stunning Photo Ops of the City Skyline, Island Wildlife, and Waterfront Landmarks
Your tour begins with an up-close look at Toronto’s vibrant western Harbourfront. From there, you’ll cross the harbour into the tranquil lagoons of the Toronto Islands, venturing into the heart of the archipelago. Highlights include historic Hanlan’s Point, the Island Yacht Club, and the serene woodlands of the Island Bird and Wildlife Sanctuary—keep an eye out for native birds, beavers, and even white-tailed deer.As we continue deeper into the islands, you’ll enjoy peaceful views of the island’s green spaces while cruising along Long Pond, which also serves as a race course during various times of the year.
We’ll then return to the harbour and glide along the waterfront at the ideal angle to capture stunning photos of Toronto’s iconic skyline. Learn about landmarks like the CN Tower, the Rogers Centre (formerly known as the SkyDome), and many of the city’s impressive skyscrapers. As the tour heads east, you’ll also pass Toronto’s industrial waterfront, including a working sugar refinery. Before heading back, you'll catch a glimpse of the city’s eastern shoreline, featuring ferry docks and upscale waterfront condominiums.
As we return to the dock, you'll leave with beautiful photos and lasting memories of your time exploring this remarkable city.
Get your tickets at Pier 6 when you board, or purchase online today!
You can purchase tickets online on our website, or you can simply show up to our dock and purchase tickets for the next available departure. For groups of 10 or more we recommend that you make a booking in advance in order to guarantee your spot.
Our dock is located at Pier 6 where the red Beavertails building is. The address is 145 Queens Quay West. This is right at the intersection of York St. and Queen’s Quay West, at the heart of Toronto’s waterfront. It is a short walk, or two streetcar stops from Union Station.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time in order to get checked in and into line. During busy summer months you might want to arrive even earlier. While ticket holders all have a guaranteed seat onboard, seating is first come first serve so the earlier you arrive the more options you will have.
Yes! We think you’ll find we have the best tour guides around! Our tour guides are young, energetic, engaging, and the tour has a very interactive feel. It combines education with entertainment, and you will hear all about the city of Toronto, plus our unique perspective on Toronto’s waterfront and the Toronto Islands.
The tour is a 50 minute continuous cruise. If you would like to visit the islands, our Water Taxi service is a great way to get you there quickly. This service will be available daily from May to September (subject to weather conditions).
Children two and under are FREE. You do not need to purchase a ticket or pay for children two years old or younger.
Unfortunately our boats are not wheelchair accessible as there is no ramp to board directly onto the vessel. That being said, some of our vessels may be able to accommodate non-electric chairs so long as they are able to fit. We do have a ramp that will take you right to the boat, but then the wheelchair would need to be lifted on to the boat, and depending on the water level it might be a step up or down onto the vessel. We do have many staff on hand who are able to assist people with limited mobility in getting onto the boat. Whether this is a helping hand, or lifting the wheelchair up and onto the boat if that is something that the person is comfortable with. This, however, is not possible for electric wheelchairs. Please keep in mind some of our boats are more wheelchair accessible than others, and that water conditions and levels vary throughout the season which would further impact accessibility.
As long as your pet is friendly, and is comfortable on boats and around large groups of people, you may definitely bring them with you. Please make sure that your pet is on a leash or in a pet carrier for the duration of the trip. There is no extra charge to bring your pet with you!
It may happen that bad weather will alter our tour schedule or require us to shut down tours on a regularly scheduled day. Usually, there are only a handful of days throughout the year in which the tour must be shut down for this reason. If we cancel due to weather, you will have the option to rebook for a different day or to have your ticket refunded.
Tickets can be cancelled and fully refunded up to 24 hours before your scheduled departure—please contact us by phone or email. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure are non-refundable but may be rescheduled within the current season. Tickets are valid until October 31st of the year of purchase. Unused tickets after this date are non-refundable. If your tour is cancelled by Toronto Harbour Tours Inc. (e.g., due to weather), you may choose a full refund or reschedule within the current year. No-shows are non-refundable but may be rescheduled within the current season.
